JOB SUMMARY: 

 

This position is responsible for maintenance of all equipment to ensure a safe operation. This position will focus on repair, construction, troubleshooting and rehab of park rides and attractions and help to establish preventive maintenance and inspection programs that maximize uptime and minimize cost.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

• Maintain the highest standard of safety on all rides and attractions in accordance with all safety related policies

• Perform daily safety inspections on park rides and attractions. Attend to any repairs, and identify and communicate ride equipment failures to maintenance supervisor ensuring complete compliance of the manufacturer’s specifications and park standards

• Complete preventative maintenance, repairs and overhauls on rides, attractions, and equipment

• Identify work required for winter rehab and work with maintenance manager to plan and schedule rehab

• Submit parts requests to maintenance manager for approval in a timely manner with complete documentation is support of rides and attraction repairs

• Provide and maintain records of completed work and outside inspections to support maintenance manager documentation

• Ensure personal tools are in good working order and have minimum required tools ready and accessible at all times

• Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with the requirements and policies of the management

• Compliance with all personnel policies

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 

​​

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• For safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language is preferred.

• Ability to complete tasks with little supervision and work independently.

• Can handle multiple tasks at one time with efficient use of time.

• Must be able to stand/move up to 6 hours at a time and up to 16 hours in a day.

• Must appear professionally in public
